Oversized Top + Thigh High Boots…FTW

Gray is a neutral, cool, objective, unbiased, impartial and balanced color. Been playing with neutral colors in my wardrobe lately. Gray or grey whichever way you prefer to spell it, it has somewhat been replacing my black pieces. Gray has become the new black, and we can thank “5o shades of Grey” for this neutral color palette in our lives. (scroll down for more view on the color Grey/Gray)

Washed out

All Saints Meller Jumper in Sandstone, V-neck heavy knit-sweater features multi-directional ribbing across the body in a relaxed fit. Paired with my Public Desire Colette Heeled Thigh High boots in a cool gray suede tone. A black crisp vintage fedora hat to balance the neutrals.

Been buying my tops oversized to snuggle myself and be in ultimate comfort. My go-to shoes to pair my oversized pieces are a sexy pair of thigh highs to complete my comfy chic + relaxed look,  I’ve been more so striving towards lately. Don’t forget to always wear a pair of booty shorts underneath >.<

Gray is the color of intellect, knowledge, and wisdom. It is perceived as long-lasting, classic, and often as sleek or refined. It is a color that is dignified, conservative, and carries authority.

Gray is controlled and inconspicuous and is considered a color of compromise, perhaps because it sits between the extremes of black and white. Gray is a perfect neutral, which is why designers often use it as a background color.
